Born in 1927, Patricia Pelkofer was an environmentalist active in western Pennsylvania. One of the founding members of the Group Against Smog and Pollution (GASP), a grassroots environmental organization, Pelkofer worked specifically on environmental issues of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
